Understand the season lifecycle and how to manage state transitions.
Season States
Every season moves through four states. Each state controls what players can see and what actions are available.
DraftOnly visible to managers. Use this phase to configure the season — set the course, build the roster, create teams, and generate the schedule. Players can't see anything yet.OpenThe season is live. Players can see their teams, schedule, standings, and chat. You can still edit weekly configurations and manage the roster.Locked (In Season)The regular season is underway. Matches are being played and scored. You can still adjust upcoming weeks, handle sub requests, and finalize results.CompleteThe season is over. All results are final. Standings, stats, and the playoff bracket are locked. The league becomes read-only. Changing Season State
State transitions happen in the Settings tab. Move forward through Draft → Open → Locked → Complete as the season progresses. You can move backward if needed (e.g. reopening a completed season to fix a scoring error).
WarningMoving to Complete locks all results. Make sure all matches are finalized and standings are correct before completing the season.
