Getting Started

Create your organization, build your first league, and configure a season.

Step 1Create an Organization

Sign up at tplgolf.com and create a new organization. Choose a name and slug (URL-friendly identifier). Set the org type to "League" — this determines which dashboard features you see.

Step 2Create a League

From your org dashboard, go to Leagues and click "New League." Give it a name and select a scoring format. You can change the format later if needed.

Step 3Configure the Season

Open the league and go to Settings. Set your season start date, day of week, number of regular weeks, playoff teams, handicap method, and weather policy. Assign a home course and default tee.

Step 4Build the Roster

Add players to the roster by email. You can add them one at a time or use the bulk invite feature. Each player gets an invite email with league details and a link to create their account.

Step 5Create Teams & Schedule

Create teams and assign players. Then build the weekly schedule — the system generates matchups automatically. Configure each week's course, tee, nine to play, and tee sheet.

Step 6Open the Season

When everything is configured, change the season state from Draft to Open. Players can now see their schedule, teams, and standings.

Tip
You don't need to have everything perfect before opening. You can edit weekly configurations, adjust rosters, and modify the schedule throughout the season.
