Last updated: March 2026
TPL Golf (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates tplgolf.com and the TPL Golf platform (“Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password credentials (managed by Clerk, our authentication provider). You may also provide a phone number.
League and scoring data. We store golf league data you and your organization create, including team rosters, handicap indexes, match scores, tee times, and league standings.
Payment information. Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data on our servers. We retain records of subscription status, plan tier, and transaction history.
Communications. Messages, images, and videos sent through the platform’s messaging and match chat features are stored on our servers and Vercel Blob storage.
Usage data. We may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps to operate and improve the Service.

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and is contractually required to protect your data.
4. Data Sharing Within Your Organization
TPL Golf is a multi-tenant platform. Information you enter — including your name, handicap, scores, and roster status — is visible to other members of your organization and league as appropriate to the function of the Service. League commissioners and admins have elevated access to manage rosters, scores, and settings within their organization.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and league data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes. League historical data (scores, standings) may be retained in anonymized form.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication via Clerk, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to notifying affected users in the event of a data breach as required by applicable law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability (receive a copy of your data in a common format)
To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@tplgolf.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
