Outings & Events
Run corporate events, charity tournaments, and group outings with registration, pairings, scoring, and sponsors.
Creating an Outing
From your org dashboard, go to Outings and create a new event. Set the event name, date, course, format, and registration details. The outing gets its own public registration page that you can share with participants.
Outing Formats
Choose the format that fits your event. The format determines how scoring works and how groups are structured:
Registration & Payment
Outings support online registration with payment through Stripe. Set a registration fee per player or per group, and participants pay during sign-up. Registration data flows directly into your contact database.
Step 1 — Configure Registration
Set the fee amount, registration deadline, and maximum number of players or groups. Optionally include add-ons like dinner tickets, mulligans, or raffle entries.
Step 2 — Share the Registration Link
Each outing gets a public registration page. Share the URL via email campaigns, your website, or social media. Participants fill out their details and pay through Stripe Checkout.
Step 3 — Track Registrations
The outing dashboard shows all registrations in real time — who's signed up, payment status, and group preferences. Download the registration list as a CSV at any time.
Staff Links
Staff links give on-site coordinators access to outing operations without needing a full account. Generate a staff link at /staff/[token] — it's a unique, token-based URL that provides access to check-in, scoring, and group management for that specific event. Share it with volunteers, marshals, and course staff on the day of the outing.
Hole Sponsors
Every outing has 18 sponsor slots — one per hole. Assign sponsors to holes from the outing management page. Sponsor names appear on the public results page and can be displayed on printed scorecards or digital signage. Sponsorship is a great revenue stream for charity tournaments and corporate events.
- Assign a sponsor name and optional logo to each hole
- Sponsors appear on the public results page
- Export sponsor data for signage or printed materials
Auto-Pairing Groups
Once registration closes, use auto-pairing to generate groups automatically. The system distributes players into foursomes based on registration order, group preferences, or handicap. You can manually adjust pairings after generation — swap players between groups, add late registrants, or break up groups that requested to be together (or apart).
Public Results Page
After the event, publish results to a public page that shows final standings, group scores, closest-to-pin winners, longest drive, and hole sponsors. Share the results link with all participants as a post-event follow-up — it's a great touchpoint that drives engagement and keeps your course top-of-mind.
