Billing

Manage your venue subscription, understand plan entitlements, and control what features your team can access.

Organization Subscription

Every venue organization runs on a subscription plan. Your plan determines which features are available — tee sheet size, contact limits, campaign volume, outing capacity, site editor access, and more. Subscriptions are managed through Stripe and billed monthly or annually.

Plan Entitlements

Each plan tier includes a set of entitlements — feature flags that gate access to specific capabilities. When you try to use a feature that isn't included in your plan, you'll see an upgrade prompt instead. Entitlements control things like:

  • Number of courses you can link
  • Contact database size
  • Campaigns per month
  • Auto-email triggers available
  • Outing and event creation
  • Blog and site editor access
  • Lead capture forms
  • Advanced reporting and analytics

Specific venue plan tiers and pricing are still being defined. The entitlement system is built and ready — tier details will be published here once finalized.

Subscription States

Trialing
New venue orgs start with a free trial that unlocks all features. No payment method required until the trial ends.
Active
Payment is current and all plan features are enabled. The normal operating state.
Past Due
A payment has failed. The org keeps access during a grace period while Stripe retries the charge. Update your payment method in Billing settings to resolve.
Canceled
The subscription has been canceled. Access reverts to read-only at the end of the current billing period. Existing data is preserved but you can't create new tee times, outings, campaigns, or leads.
Warning
If your subscription enters Past Due, update your payment method promptly. After the grace period, access is restricted and your tee sheet, campaigns, and public booking page will stop functioning.

Managing Your Subscription

All billing controls live in Org Settings under the Billing tab. From there you can:

  • View your current plan, billing cycle, and next payment date.
  • Upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan.
  • Update your payment method (opens Stripe Customer Portal).
  • View payment history and download invoices.
  • Cancel your subscription (access continues through the current period).

Outing & Event Payments

Your venue subscription is separate from outing registration fees. When players register and pay for events, those payments go directly to your connected Stripe account. The platform subscription covers access to the tools — event revenue is yours.

Note
Stripe handles all payment processing for both your subscription and outing registrations. The platform never stores credit card numbers. Players and your org receive receipts directly from Stripe.

Comped Orgs

Platform administrators can comp a venue organization, providing full access with no subscription charge. Comped orgs show a "Comped" badge in Billing settings. Comp status is set at the platform level — contact support if you believe your venue qualifies (beta partners, launch partners, or special arrangements).
