Getting Started

Create a Venue Operator org, link your courses, and get familiar with the dashboard.

Step 1Create a Venue Organization

Sign up at tplgolf.com and create a new organization. When prompted for org type, select "Venue Operator." This unlocks the full venue dashboard — tee sheets, contacts, campaigns, leads, outings, and the site editor. League-focused features are still available if you run in-house leagues.

Step 2Link Your Courses

From your org dashboard, go to Courses and search the IGN course database by name, city, or state. Select your course from the results and it's linked immediately — hole data, par, yardage, and tee information are pulled in automatically. Link as many courses as your facility manages.

Step 3Explore the Dashboard

Your org dashboard is the control center. It shows summary stats and quick actions at a glance so you always know what's happening across your operation.

Dashboard Overview

The venue dashboard surfaces the numbers that matter most. At the top you'll see summary cards for key metrics:

Stats

Members
Total registered members across your org — players who have accepted invites or created accounts through your booking flow.
Contacts
Size of your CourseContact database — everyone who has interacted with your course through tee times, outings, leagues, newsletters, or walk-ins.
Leagues
Active leagues running at your venue, including both house leagues you manage and external leagues that play your course.
Outings
Corporate events, tournaments, and group outings — upcoming and past.
Upcoming Tee Times
Booked tee times for the coming days, pulled from your tee sheet.
Campaigns Sent
Email campaigns delivered to your contact list — confirmations, promotions, weather alerts, and follow-ups.

Quick Actions

Below the stats, the dashboard provides one-click access to the most common tasks:

  • Create a new tee time slot on the tee sheet
  • Add a contact manually
  • Draft a new email campaign
  • Create an outing or event
  • Publish a blog post
  • View and manage incoming leads
Tip
Link your courses first. Many features — tee sheets, scorecards, outing pairings — depend on having course and hole data available. The IGN database covers thousands of courses, so yours is almost certainly there.

What's Different from a League Org?

A Venue Operator org includes everything a League org has — seasons, teams, schedules, standings — plus venue-specific tools: tee sheet management, a contact CRM, email campaigns with auto-triggers, lead capture, a blog and site editor, and outing management with Stripe-powered registration. If you run leagues at your course, you get the best of both worlds.
