What Is a Digital Scorecard?
tplgolf provides a universal digital scorecard that works for any type of round: casual rounds with friends, league matches, outings, or tournaments. Each scorecard has a unique access code and QR code so anyone in your group can join and score.
Starting a Scorecard
Step 1 — Create the Scorecard
Start a new scorecard from the dashboard. Select the course and tee, then share the access code or QR code with your group.
Step 2 — Add Players
Players can join using the access code link or by scanning the QR code. They don't need a tplgolf account for casual rounds.
Step 3 — Score Hole by Hole
Enter scores as you play. Everyone in the group can see scores update in real time.
Step 4 — Attest
When the round is complete, players can attest (confirm) their scores. This locks the scorecard and marks it as official.
Scorecard States
A scorecard moves through these states:
- Not Started — Created but no scores entered yet
- In Progress — Scoring is underway
- Completed — All holes scored, awaiting attestation
- Attested — Scores confirmed and locked
